This project was very exciting for us due to the amount of engineering and structural integrity put into it. We removed 13 feet of the side wall from this beautiful older tour bus, one layer at a time, we then re-routed almost a mile of wiring that was going through the center of the wall into the ceiling and under the floor. Next we framed the opening with 2×4 steel tube spanning into the roof and under the floor, tying it all together to be one super structure. Then we built the room box and operating mechanism from scratch. Once we had it installed and moving we re-attached the side wall and began the rebuilding process. Around a thousand man hours later, we had a beautiful trimmed out Prevost with a 12.5 foot slide out room, that appears to be factory.
